Garlic Butter Noodles

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces egg noodles
  • ¼ cup butter or margarine
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  • Cook noodles, in salted water, according to package directions. Reserve ¼ cup of pasta water, drain noodles and set aside.
  • In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic sauté until aromatic, about 30 seconds.
  • Return noodles to pan. Add 1-2 tablespoons of pasta water and stir to coat the pasta with butter.
  • Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper, to taste.
