- 12 ounces egg noodles
- ¼ cup butter or margarine
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook noodles, in salted water, according to package directions. Reserve ¼ cup of pasta water, drain noodles and set aside.
- In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic sauté until aromatic, about 30 seconds.
- Return noodles to pan. Add 1-2 tablespoons of pasta water and stir to coat the pasta with butter.
- Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper, to taste.
