Ingredients

  • 12 ounces egg noodles
  • ¼ cup butter or margarine
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles, in salted water, according to package directions. Reserve ¼ cup of pasta water, drain noodles and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic sauté until aromatic, about 30 seconds.
  3. Return noodles to pan. Add 1-2 tablespoons of pasta water and stir to coat the pasta with butter.
  4. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper, to taste.
